    Indians take the lidlifter of Sunday twinbill when Graig Nettles scores on a Mel Stottlemyre wild pitch in the top of the 9th. Stottlemyre had held the Tribe at bay on only four hits entering the ninth.

    New York loaded the bases in the bottom of the frame, but John Ellis grounded out to third to end the game.
